New Horizons Centre is a $175 million dollar joint venture building to co-locate and integrate around 300 Monash staff with 150 researchers from the CSIRO in the engineering precinct of the Monash University Clayton campus. Scheduled to open in 2012 New Horizons aims to transform manufacturing in areas like biomedicine, transport, aerospace and mineral processing.

The project is programmed to start in September 2010 and complete in September 2012.

Focus Digital is engaged as the Monash University Building Owners representative. This responsibility incorporates verifying that the Commissioning carried out in the Design and Construction of the project will result in the best possible outcome for the University both in cost and energy performance. This is achieved by ensuring that the building is commissioned and is working to the full intent of the original design.

As this project is the first major step in a University wide upgrade of their Building Automation Systems across all campuses, the predominate focus of Focus Digital is on the Building Automation System and associated components
